Terms of use
Last updated 4 November 2026
Welcome
These terms cover your use of the RevTribe app and its services. RevTribe is run by David Pack, an individual in the United Kingdom ("RevTribe", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them and to the community rules. If you do not agree, please do not use RevTribe.
Who can use RevTribe
You must be at least 17 years old. We ask for your date of birth when you sign in to check this, and we do not keep the date. If we find out someone is under 17, we delete their account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for what happens on your account. Members aged 17 get the same protections as everyone else, and the same rules apply to everyone.
Your account
Signing in with Google creates your RevTribe profile. Guests can use the app on their own phone but nothing is stored on our server. You can delete your account at any time from your profile, which deletes your garage, clubs you own, posts, comments and photos.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post, including photos, text, cars and club pages. By posting, you give us permission to store it and show it to other people as you have chosen through your privacy settings, so the app can work. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from short-term backups.
What you must not do
Do not break the community rules, break the law, try to access other people's accounts or data, interfere with the service, or use RevTribe to harass or deceive others. Do not use automated tools to copy content from the app.
Clubs, meets and other members
Clubs are run by their owners and admins, who decide who joins and can remove members and content. Meets and events are organised by members, not by RevTribe. We do not check anyone, so use your own judgement, take care meeting people, and follow the law and any venue rules.
Moderation
We can remove content, hide comments, suspend accounts or close clubs that break these terms or the community rules, with or without warning where the risk is serious. Post owners can hide comments on their own posts. When we act on your content, we tell you in the app and you can appeal. See Keeping people safe, and Complaints and appeals, below.
Keeping people safe
The UK Online Safety Act asks us to protect people from illegal content, and to protect children from content that could harm them. RevTribe is for people aged 17 and over, and these things are not allowed for anyone, anywhere in the app: pornography; content that encourages suicide, self-harm or eating disorders; abuse and hate aimed at people for who they are; bullying; violence and instructions for serious violence; harmful substances; dangerous stunts and challenges; and anything illegal, including terrorism, child sexual abuse, fraud and threats. The community rules explain each one.
We assess the risks on RevTribe and write them down. We do this by having every report read by a person, removing content that breaks these terms, acting quickly where someone may be in danger, and reporting illegal content to the authorities where the law says we must. We do not check everything before it is posted, so reports matter. Use the flag or menu on any post, comment, profile, car, club or club photo.
Complaints and appeals
To report content, use the flag or menu on it. We tell you we have received it, and tell you what we decided, normally within 7 days.
If we remove or hide something you posted, you will see a message in the app. Tap it to appeal and tell us why you think we were wrong. A person looks at it again and tells you the result, normally within 7 days. If we agree, we put it back where we can, or reinstate your account.
If your account is suspended, or you want to complain about how we handled something, email support@revtribe.co.uk. You can also complain to Ofcom, or to the Information Commissioner's Office about how we use your information.
Privacy
How we use your information is explained in our privacy policy. In short: we store what you give us to run the app, we do not sell your data, and your profile visibility setting decides who can see what you share.
The service
RevTribe is provided as is and is still being built. We try to keep it running smoothly but cannot promise it will always be available or error free. Features may change or be removed.
Responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, we are not responsible for what members post, for meets or events you attend through the app, or for any loss that was not a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms. Always drive safely and obey the law.
Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by things outside our reasonable control, such as power or internet outages, problems with our hosting or sign-in providers, or serious events like fires, floods or strikes.
Ending things
You can stop using RevTribe at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or the community rules. You can appeal, as explained in Complaints and appeals.
Changes
We may update these terms. If the changes matter, we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use RevTribe after a change means you accept it.
If part of these terms does not work
If a part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute, although if you live elsewhere in the UK you may also have the right to go to your local courts. Questions or complaints: support@revtribe.co.uk.
